Join us at the Sugar Hill Children’s Museum of Art and Storytelling for a special program celebrating African American History with African folktales told around the world. These timeless stories, passed down through generations, capture the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the African American community. Our program features engaging and interactive storytelling sessions designed for young children and their families.

April Armstrong Presents Honoring the Legacy of Faith Ringgold

Award-winning Storyteller, vocalist and actor, April Armstrong and her jazzy friends, Mario E. Sprouse and Napoleon Revels-Bey join us to tell stories, sing songs and present a blues rendition of Faith Ringgold's classic children's book, Tar Beach!
