2025 Student Exhibition
Featuring work by the students of Dorothy Day Early Childhood Center and Sugar Hill Museum Preschool.
NOVUM TEMPUS
Novum Tempus, Latin for “A New Time” is an exhibition that honors the creativity and imagination of our young artists. For this exhibit, children explored a variety of art mediums, learned new techniques, experimented with materials and discovered how art can be both a form of play and an expression of their thoughts and feelings.

NESTING : ARTIST LED TOUR AND ACTIVITIES

Nesting by Natalie Collette Wood
Artist in residence Natalie Wood invites all ages to tour the environments of Nesting, her fantastical exhibition consisting of living sculptures, aerial installations, immersive painted landscapes and interactive soft sculptures! Families are encouraged to participate in a hands-on group project using natural materials. Nesting is the culminating exhibit of Natalie’s residencey and is curated by Jesse Bandler Firestone.

JAZZ ON THE HILL Featuring: TC the 3rd
William Theodore Carney III--known as TC the 3rd--grew up in Philadelphia, the son of local music legends Trudy Pitts and “Mr. C” who provided his unique musical training as well as exposure to the world of Jazz. Sugar Hill Museum is proud to partner with Jazz Foundation of America to bring his amazing sound to the plaza for a special outdoor performance with music, dancing and art making activities!

Join us each month for hands on art making with an artist!
Toddler Time with Evan V
Our monthly Toddler Time with Evan V introduces children to diverse rhythms and features fun lyrics that both kids and parents can sing along with. Evan's jumping jams encourage movement and interactive stories that ignite children's imagination! There will also be tambourines, shakers, dance ribbons, and more to help facilitate learning, movement, and dancing!
